This place popped up as one of the best in the state so I made the drive from Rockville, md. I was on a hunt to find some great crab cakes in Maryland and I was willing to make a drive to get them. I'd rather drink out of a glass cup and using plastic utensils presented a small extra obstacle when eating.Įdit: Went back the following morning for the famous Cap n Crunch French Toast.

I appreciate the efforts to reduce passing germs but in a small location like this it's unavoidable really.
#GLUTEN FREE RESTAURANTS IN BALTIMORE CODE#
The menu is also only accessible from a QR code on the table. The dining in feels a little silly at this point, I'm assuming due to covid so, you're handed a bottled water and plastic utensils in plastic wrapping to get you started. I did find myself needing to sprinkle a little salt and pepper. With all of that I was expecting a bit more flavor. A homemade biscuit topped with bacon eggs, sausage gravy and cheese and hash browns. They take one of their homemade cinnamon rolls, batter and fry it like traditional french toast. I had the 'Sin Roll French Toast' and the 'G&G Country Scramble.' They had hand sanitizer at the front and the restaurant looked clean but I would prefer food service workers to wear gloves when handling food for the health and safety of everyone, personally. I did take off one star because no one was wearing gloves, not even when they grabbed my cupcakes. Customer service was good, seems like a really nice place to dine in at and I would return and buy more cupcakes ! Lol. It came out fairly quickly and even when there was a mistake at the register they were very quick to remedy it. We also got a takeout order of their vegan general Tso’s tofu with white rice and that was really good. The cupcake itself was so moist and flavorful I mean wow!! I can see why people get their desserts. She didn’t care too much for the icing but I liked it. I got the carrot cake and birthday vanilla cupcake (not vegan, which was fine by me lol) & my Mom got a dairy free strawberry shortcake.

The icing is very rich but not so sugary sweet. I came here for Mothers Day after reading all the great reviews and I was not disappointed! As others have said, the cupcakes are FABULOUS. I was unfortunately in a rush so I couldn't enjoy as much as I wanted. The Golden Milk was great as well if you order it, make sure to mix it a little before drinking. The texture of the chocolate and the coconut flavor was unbeatable. I also got a Samoa Bar, which was no doubt one of the best desserts I've ever had in my life.

I would have loved the portions to be a little larger and have the "cream cheese" be a slightly thicker, but that's just me. The cashew cream cheese was creamy and rich. The bagel was certainly fresh and homemade.

I ordered the carrot lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel. When I stopped by to pick up the cake, I got myself some lunch. The entire party was surprised when I told them it was vegan and gluten free. The cake was moist and quite dense but amazingly flavorful all the way through. I ordered a 6' cake for a friends birthday, and they were able to get it done in such short notice. Everything I ordered was easily some of the best food I've had since moving to the city.
